Meet Marsha Pouget
Marsha
began her career with the desire to give every client his or her
garden paradise. She learned very rapidly that this means something
different to each individual. Her goal is to increase curb appeal,
increase property value, and make your home more inviting.
Self employed in landscape design since 1988, Marsha has an extensive
background of experience and training. Marsha was the Horticulture
Adjunct Instructor for Solano Community College from 1988 to 2006,
and Landscape Designer for Monte Vista Nursery from 1984 to 1988.
As Solano County Master Gardener since 1984, Marsha wrote a weekly
garden column for "Fairfield Daily Republic" for seven
years and for the "Vacaville Reporter" for four years.
Her garden designs have won many awards, are included on Solano
County garden tours, and have been featured on TV's "Landscape
Smart". Most recently, one of Marsha's designs is featured
in a national magazine and several are being used in an instructional
CD for "Waterwise" gardening.
Marsha's education includes Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education
with a Teaching Credential in Ornamental Horticulture from University
of Southern Illinois. She also holds an Associate of Science in
Ornamental Horticulture with a Specialty in Landscape Design from
Solano Community College.
Marsha has extended training in Garden Studies in England, Scotland,
France, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, and Canada. She has also
completed specialized study in Chinese gardens, Japanese gardens,
Xeriscape gardens, Small Garden spaces, and Low Maintenance Design.
